Healthcare for All Ohioans Social Media Manager (2024 - )

Healthcare for All Ohioans is an organization working for affordable healthcare for all via policy work. They work mainly in the state of Ohio and aim to achieve their goals through lobbying, workshops, gathering awareness about the issue, and more.

Laasya develops and manages all content (graphics & videos) for all social media platforms (including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok). Her posting schedule includes ~4 posts a week as well as data analysis of engagement using self-developed tracking tools. Laasya also creates monthly reports to share the results of this conducted data analysis.

Student Research Intern at AgSensing Lab (2024 - )

The AgSensing Lab is a lab at the Ohio State University, working on creating better agriculture systems for farmers. They aim to do this through remote sensing, geographic information systems, machine learning, and precision agriculture technologies.

Laasya analyzes data and develop artificial intelligence-based models, such as regression models. The main project she has been working on involves evaluating the impacts of agricultural management practices on crop productivity and soil health. In her time working at the lab, she has sorted through over 80,000 pieces of spectral imaging data to process data.

Campaign Social Media Manager for US House of Representatives Candidate Tamie Wilson (2024 - )

Laasya works on the campaign team of US House of Representatives Candidate Tamie Wilson, who is running for Ohio District 4. She creates campaign graphics and videos that effectively convey Wilson’s message. She manages campaign content across multiple social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok. On average, Laasya posts about seven pieces of content weekly. Through strategic content creation, she enhanced the campaign's online presence.

​Campaign Literature & Social Media Intern for Mason City Council Candidate Joy Bennett (2023)

Laasya worked on the campaign team of Mason City Council Candidate Joy Bennett, who was running for her local city council. She was responsible for creating engaging content across platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok. She organized various campaign events, such as phone banks, to mobilize volunteers and engage directly with voters. Laasya also worked collaboratively with other campaigns across Ohio to build a united front for progressive change.

Tutor & Grader at Kumon (2023 - 2024)

Laasya provided individualized support to students at her local Kumon Learning Center, focusing on their skills in mathematics and reading. She assessed each student's progress, identified areas needing improvement, and tailored activities to meet their unique learning needs. She also collaborated with parents and other instructors to track progress and set achievable goals for consistent academic improvement.
