Science Fair Team (2019 - )
Laasya has been participating in competitive science fairs since 2019, and non-competitive science fairs since 2017. Since then, science fairs have allowed her to grow and develop into the young scientist that she is today! She was elected to be the captain of her school's science fair team for the 2023-2024 school year and the 2024-2025 school year, and she is already working on implementing new ways to better the program and get more participants!

National Honors Society (2023 - )

In Laasya's school’s National Honors Society, one of the largest school-wide events we host is an annual Prom Fashion show. This event serves as a major fundraiser, with proceeds supporting student materials, giving back via community donations, and providing prom tickets to students who otherwise may not be able to attend. Additionally, part of the funds are donated to Daylight Prom, an event similar to prom hosted at our school for students with disabilities. As a committee chair for this show, Laasya was heavily involved in organizing, planning, and running this massive event. Last year, they were thrilled to raise over $2000, the most successful show in years!
