UC Berkeley Nuclear Engineering '29

Scientist, Innovator, Advocate

I’m a nuclear engineering student at UC Berkeley with interests in fission research, nuclear nonproliferation, and the role of nuclear energy in advancing clean, reliable, and sustainable power systems. My passion for sustainability began through agricultural research, where I developed AI-based tools for early crop disease detection and explored how technology can help address food security challenges. Those experiences sparked a broader interest in using science and engineering to tackle global issues at scale.

Today, I am particularly interested in the potential of nuclear technology to support decarbonization and long-term energy security. Alongside my technical pursuits, I am committed to advocacy, science communication, and public policy. I believe that meaningful progress requires both technological innovation and public engagement. Whether working in agriculture, energy, or sustainability, I am driven by the goal of bridging engineering and advocacy to develop solutions that create lasting societal impact!
